Paris Saint-Germain have suspended midfielder Adrien Rabiot until March 27 over his recent behaviour, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

L’Equipe reported on Thursday that France international Rabiot, who wants to leave the club, had been internally disciplined.

It came after he was seen out at a nightclub after last week’s Champions League home exit to Manchester United and “liked” a video in which Patrice Evra threatened to slap former PSG player Jerome Rothen.

Sources close to club and player told ESPN FC Rabiot will not be allowed to enter the Camp des Loges training centre until he has met leading club officials at the end of the month.

RTL reported that the meeting could result in the formal sacking of the 23-year-old, but a source told ESPN FC the situation was not certain to go that far.
