Borussia Dortmund extended their lead over Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table to nine points by hammering Hannover 5-1 with three goals in seven minutes.

Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring in the 24th minute to put Dortmund in control at the break, but a rapidfire triple from Marco Reus (60), Mario Gotze (62) and Raphael Guerreiro (67) put the game to bed early in the second half.

Marvin Bakalorz struck back in the 86th minute but it was too little too late and Axel Witsel even had time to add a fifth.
